Nitrite
A urinalysis test checks for different cells, chemicals, and other substances in a sample of your urine (pee). This includes checking for nitrites. Nitrites in your urine may be a sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI).
A urinalysis, which includes a test for nitrites in urine, is used to check your general health, including the health of your urinary tract and kidneys. It may also be used to check for a UTI.
